The interdisciplinary study of automation and mechatronics is crucial for developing advanced manufacturing processes, robotics, and smart systems that enhance efficiency, precision, and reliability, and is gaining more attention than before for huge potentials for higher functionality and efficiency, new innovations and opportunities. Conggan Ma Professor, Vice Dean, Doctoral Supervisor of the College of Automotive Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology-Weihai
Biography:Conggan Ma was born in Sichuan, China, in 1987. He received the Ph.D. degree from Tongji University and worked as Postdoctoral Fellow at Harbin Institute of Technology, Visiting Scholar at University of Nottingham. He is currently a professor, Vice Dean and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Automotive Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai), and a member of the IEEE Senior Member and the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineering (CSAE). His research interests include intelligent fault diagnosis, intelligent perception and decision-making, wheel hub motor technology, vibration and noise control of electric drive systems. He has presided over more than twenty scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China's top project, Youth Foundation, and Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province. As the first/corresponding author, he has published more than 30 SCI papers, and authorized 15 Chinese invention patents and 11 software copyrights.

Biography:Li Guo received the B.Sc. degree from Hunan University, Changsha, China, in 1984, the M.Sc. degree from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree from Xi‘an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China in 1994, all in mechanical engineering, He is academic backbone of Hunan University, senior member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, assessment committee member of the Ministry of Science and Technology, assessment expert of the National Natural Science Foundation, assessment expert of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education's science and technology projects, etc.. He is also an expert in the evaluation of natural science funds in Hunan Province and Shandong Province, an academic backbone of the National High-Efficiency Grinding Engineering and Technology Research Centre, and an academic backbone of the National 985 High-Tech Research (Automotive Advanced Design and Manufacturing Innovation Team). His main research areas are intelligent and efficient precision grinding technology and its CNC machine tool equipment; intelligent machine tool dynamic and static pressure spindle system; advanced automotive design and manufacturing and body welding and stamping technology; intelligent optical mechatronics design and manufacturing.
Fengqiu Xu Associate Professor and PhD Supervisor of Department of Electronic Science and Technology, Wuhan University
Biography:Dr. Xu Fengqiu is an Associate Professor with the School of Electronic Information, Wuhan University. His research interests are magnetic levitation technology, magnetic driving technology, high-performance motion control theory. He was awarded serials of competitive grants including the National Key R&D Young Scientist Project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, et. al. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers research papers and obtained more than 30 patents related to the magnetically levitated driving technology. Dr. Xu Fengqiu is a senior member of IEEE, and selected into the 'Young Talent Support Project' of the China Association for Science and Technology.
Shuangji Yao School of Vehicle and Energy, Yanshan University
Biography: Shuangji Yao, received his PhD degree in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2010, and served as Beijing Iron and Steel Design and Research Institute (CMT Jingcheng Engineering and Technology Co., Ltd., Ruixin Long Materials Design and R&D Dept.) as Senior Engineer from 2010-2016, and joined Yanshan University since 2016, and is now an Associate Professor of the School of Vehicle and Energy, Yanshan University. His research interests are special transport equipment technology and theory, special robot technology. He has presided over or completed a number of projects such as international cooperation special projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, regional joint fund projects of the National Natural Fund of China, aerospace-type projects, and enterprise commissions. He serves as an editorial board member of international journals, such as International Journal of Mechanics and Control and STEM Education.
Maged Al-Barashi Associate Professor at School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Guilin University of Aerospace Technology
Biography: Maged Al-Barashi, male, Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Associate Professor, has been engaged in teaching and researching electrical engineering for a long time. He received the B.S. degree in Electrical Power Systems Engineering from Aleppo University, Syria, in 2009, the M.S. degree in Electrical Power and Machine Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, China, in 2023. He served as a lecturer in the Department of Electricity at the Dhamar Institute of Industrial Technology, Yemen, from 2010 to 2017.He was employed as a part-time sales and support engineer and Roggen showroom manager at MAM International, from 2009 to 2012, support Engineer and Loglan Showroom Supervisor, and Senior Technical Engineer at NEDCO Contracting and Supply from 2015 to 2017. Currently his research interests include power quality in electronic power systems, aircraft quality and reliability, passive filters and their application in high speed rail, power utilization and renewable energy.
